San Marcos High School

San Marcos High School

SAN MARCOS HIGH SCHOOL was designed in a horseshoe shape with two main wings — one academic and one for activity — enclosing a central, secure courtyard. This courtyard serves as the school’s hub, for outdoor studies, dining, performances, and socializing. The district reorganized their career and technology programs based on current curricular initiatives, and the high school includes labs for culinary arts, criminal justice, and marketing, as well as fully operational credit union branch offering students real-time work experience. Fast-tracked construction accelerated the overall schedule and saved costs.
