Boerne Middle School North Additions and Renovations
Boerne Middle School North, facing an expanding student population, required additional space to accommodate growing campus needs. To provide more administrative offices, pfluger designed an addition at the main entrance, which required the removal of the distinctive 1950s style entry. The entrance was recreated in a stucco homage to the school’s earlier days, which contrasts with the plaster walls and stained concrete floors of the new lobby. As part of the project, new science labs were built to meet current TEA standards. Existing science labs were converted into standard classrooms. The additions to the campus also included an expanded cafeteria with more seating, additional serving lines and updated kitchen equipment.
