Jones Dining Hall Renovation

Jones Dining Hall Renovation

Overview

Jones Dining Hall was constructed in the mid-60s, and suffers from many deficiencies due to the building’s age and layout. Pfluger’s program called for a complete reorganization of the cold storage, prep areas, and servery space, as well as space for a new campus catering kitchen with related support spaces. Both the building exterior and interior received major upgrades to the systems and finishes. The new configurations provide more dining space for the University’s current population and also accommodate its projected growth of an additional 46,000 students.
